The Student’s Survival Kit: Apps I Rely on Daily

In today's world, carrying a mobile phone is as important as carrying your wallet. From helping with homework assignments to storing personal data, it becomes a gateway to information, communication, and organisations. But how many benefits does it give students besides being a major screen time excuse? The answer to this question depends on how effectively you use your devices and their applications. Let's discuss some applications that have made my life as a student efficient daily.

INSHORTS

This App gives you the latest news in 60-word headlines.  As many students cannot manage reading lengthy newspaper articles daily, apps like Inshorts provide quick highlights of important news of the day. It even gives the full story options with multiple filters and a swipe interface, giving you the option to read news/articles of your choice. You can use this app to stay updated on the date.

GRAMMERLY

You must have heard of this application, as this company has a lot to spend on sponsorships. I, too, was introduced to it through a YouTube ad. But I never regret installing it. This was my survival kit for my E-assignments, as it gave me features like grammar check, text improvement, and paraphrasing, helping me create strong content for my academic purposes.

CANVA

This is another extension of AI that provides you with designs and templates for creating visual content like posters, logos, presentations, websites, videos, social media posts, etc. Canva has a large number of creators with their customizable designs and over 1000 templates. You can edit each and every design posted online or use a variety of features to create your own with even getting paid.

BRAVE

Brave is a free, open-source web browser designed to prioritise user privacy and security. It automatically blocks advertisements, website trackers, and cross-site cookies, offering a faster and more secure browsing experience. This application helped me with my quick research as it plays ad-free videos on YouTube or any other platform.
